What is a Webmaster?

A webmaster is simply another term for a web site designer. It is the unofficial title given to the person responsible for maintining a website and ensuring it is working completely.

Personally I prefer the title "web developer", but each to their own. If there are any other technical terms you do not understand, the JargonFile has clear explinations.
