What happens if you stop freelancing and get a job as an employee?

My work situation is very stable. I have been doing freelance web development and computer support for over three years now, and I have developed an ever-expanding core group of clients.

There is absolutely no reason that I would look to go back to being an employee in the foreseeable future.

As I have explained in my about Matt page, I love what I do. Finding creative, attractive, and practical solutions for clients gives me a huge amount of personal satisfaction. Nothing pleases me more about my work than walking in the door of a client who is reaping excellent rewards from a site I created. That is motivation for me in-and-of itself.
